Two artists will be giving live demonstrations of their work as an exhibition gets underway.

Renee Nash is a well established local artist, who has always loved drawing and painting in most media - but her main love is the unpredictability of watercolour, the medium in which she enjoys depicting the many estuary and harbour scenes around Cornwall. 

Meanwhile Jenni Phillips will be showing her thrown earthenware ceramics, using slips and the technique of sgraffito, as well as a more recent range of stoneware work. Her pieces are both decorative and functional, often inspired by the colours and detail of  the sea and coastline.

The Paintings and Pots exhibition at the Ebenezer Gallery in Polperro begins today (Monday August 27) and will run to Sunday September 9.

While Renee hopes to be in situ on the following days: Aug 27, Aug 30 (pm) and Aug 31 (pm) Jenni will be at the gallery on Sep 3, Sep 4 (pm) and Sep 6 (pm).
