The East Cornwall Society of Artists’ Summer Show will open with a preview evening on Friday night, between 7 and 9pm, at the Ebenezer gallery in Polperro.

The evening will be led by Jennie Hale, an international potter, artist, writer and naturalist. Based on Bodmin Moor, she is well known across the globe for her conservation work.

The event will include a raffle with the prize of a picture painted by one of the Society’s most successful artists Renee Nash, known for her vibrant pictures of the boats in Polperro - it is worth £200.

Following the preview evening the gallery will be open every day until October 27.
