The two winners in the Cornish Times’ children’s Christmas art competition have been chosen.

Ruth Patt and James Nettleinghame were the winners of the primary and secondary age entries respectively.

For Ruth, the news that she had won an Acer Iconia One tablet added to a week of celebration – her ninth birthday was on Christmas Eve. Judges loved the attention to detail in Ruth’s Nativity scene.

Ruth and James visited the Cornish Times offices in Liskeard to receive their prize tablets from the Cornish Times’ mascot, Webster the bear.
