Police were called to Barras Street, Liskeard, at 6.20pm last night following reports that a vehicle had been in collision with a building.

Officers attended and carried out enquiries.

A 62-year-old man from Liskeard was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drink/drugs. He remains in police custody at this time.

Police have corrected their earlier report and confirmed that a man was arrested.
