WITH Christmas just six weeks away, organisations and groups across Torpoint will be holding lots of different events to get residents in the festive mood, and help with all the extra shopping. On Saturday, November 13, the First Torpoint Guides are holding a Christmas Bazaar at St James' Church Hall, starting at 2.30pm. The Cornerstone Church Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, November 20, starting at 2pm promises to have something for everyone with various stalls, crafts, gifts, cake and refreshments. On the same day, the Torpoint Rame Community Nurses Friends are holding a Christmas used toy and craft fayre, at the Band hut in Torpoint between 9.30am to 1.30pm. Torpoint Infant School will be holding their Christmas Fair on Friday, December 3, with doors opening at 1.45pm. There will be a Santa's Grotto, raffle, cake and craft stalls, and much more. St Joan of Arc will be holding a Christmas Fayre on Saturday, December 4, between 2pm to 4pm, in St James' Church Hall.
