Farm animals, Cornish food producers, local crafters and Father Christmas will be among those making a beeline to the Royal Cornwall Showground, Wadebridge on Saturday, November 19 for this year’s Cornish Winter Fair.

The annual celebration of Cornish farming and food last year had more than 5,000 people enjoying the one-day event.

There was also an uplift in the number of competitive entries across the livestock, produce, cookery, handicraft and floral art classes.

Admission to the event, which runs from 10am – 5pm, is free. It is staged entirely indoors and offers a wide array of things for visitors to see and do aside from the competitive sections.

A big draw will again be the Farming & Food Learning Zone where families can learn, hands on, about local farming and food production.

A number of Cornish food and drink producers will be showcasing their products and more than 30 local crafts people will also be selling their products.

Father Christmas will be in his grotto.
