An anonymous donor has gifted £100,000 towards the appeal to bring a new air ambulance to Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

With less than a year to go to bring a new AW169 helicopter to the county, the New Heli Appeal total now stands at £1,253,404.11.

Amy Richards, New Heli Appeal Manager, said: ’It is wonderful to receive such a significant donation and we are enormously grateful. Thanks to a huge concerted effort from our supporters we are now past the halfway mark and well on our way to hitting the £2.5million needed by April 2020.’
