With regard to the landscaping of the new roundabout at Dobwalls, I find the attitude of the Highways Agency increasingly arrogant and intransigent.
If you travel ten miles eastwards towards Plymouth, the next roundabout on the A38 is at Trerulefoot. In the middle of this one is a sizeable clump of mature trees and, to add insult to injury, a Highways Agency emergency sign store! How do they justify that when a small Christmas tree is such a safety concern?
Here's hoping some commonsense will prevail in 2010!
