Firefighters from Looe and Liskeard dealt with a washing machine fire in the Sunrising area of Looe yesterday (October 8).

Two breathing apparatus, one hosereel and one covering jet were used to put out the fire and a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to disperse smoke from the premises.

The cause was accidental.
