A main road out of South East Cornwall was closed this morning after the discovery of what police described as an ’unresponsive’ man in a car.
At around 7am this morning, June 17, police were alerted to a car at the roadside on the A390 between Gunnislake and Tavistock.
Paramedics treated the casualty at the scene.
The road was closed and diversions put in place. Motorists were advised to avoid the area if at all possible.
A police spokesman said: ’We appreciate this happened at a busy time and will inconvenience many motorists but please be patient, allow emergency services to carry out their jobs and avoid the area.
’If anyone has any information about this incident please contact police by [email protected] or calling 101.’
