Police who launched a murder investigation following the death of a four-week-old baby boy from St Blazey say two people, a 22-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man, from St Blazey, have been bailed until October pending further enquiries. 

Detectives are awaiting results of the post mortem and a number of associated tests.

The baby was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske, on Sunday, June 26, after an ambulance crew were called to a property in St Blazey.

The baby suffered serious injuries and died in hospital later that evening. Formal identification has not yet taken place.
