Officers investigating a sexual assault on board a train between Looe and Liskeard have released an image in connection with the incident.

"Between 8.30pm and 9pm on Saturday August 8, the victim boarded a train at Looe station with a group of friends," said a police spokesperson. "During the journey, she was sexually assaulted by a man.

Officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information which could assist their investigation."
