A teenager suffered serious injuries in a road collision last night.

Police were called to a collision between a bicycle and a car on the A390 at St Ann’s Chapel at around 8pm.

Officers said a 15-year-old boy riding a grey Giant Defy advanced road bike was involved in a collision with a parked Nissan car, which was unattended at the time.

The cyclist, a local boy, sustained serious injuries as a result.
