The alarm was raised after smoke was seen coming from a light switch at a property in Liskeard yesterday morning (December 11).

A crew from Liskeard Community Fire Station went to the home in Greenbank Road just before 8am.

The crew used a thermal imaging camera to confirm the fire was already out.

It was concluded that a faulty switch was the cause.
