Police are warning businesses and their staff to be vigilant after reports of fake Scottish bank notes circulating in the Liskeard and Saltash area.

’We are getting more reports of fake Scottish £50 notes being used,’ said a police spokesperson.

’Please be careful and do not accept these notes as payments, and as businesses please re-think your policy on accepting large value notes and train your staff accordingly.’
