Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash on the A38 reported on the Cornwall Times website yesterday.
At 1850 hours last night (Saturday) all three emergency services attended a two vehicle road traffic collision on the A38, approximately one mile east of the village of Tideford.
An orange coloured Fiat Punto and a silver Mercedes A class were involved in a head on collision. The two occupants of both vehicles were taken by ambulance to Derriford Hospital. One of the occupants of the Mercedes has suffered potentially life changing injuries.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team want to identify a dark coloured SUV or 4x4 vehicle at the scene of the collision. Police would like to hear from anyone who has witnessed the collision, or travelled on the A38 in either direction at the time of the collision who may have dashcam footage or witnessed either vehicle prior to the collision.
