Police are appealing for information following reports of an assault in Liskeard on Sunday (11 July)
The incident is reported to have taken place outside the Albion pub on Dean Street, between 4 and 5pm.
The victim, a man in his 30s, sustained serious injuries to his face as a result of the incident, say police.
Officers investigating the incident would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed it happen.
