Police are appealing for witnesses following last week’s fatal collision on the A38 in the Glynn Valley.
Police were informed at around 2.15am on Friday (August 19) of a multiple vehicle collision and a number of people seriously injured.
The collision involved a Saab and a Ford Fiesta. A third vehicle, a Mercedes Vito van, also sustained minor damage as a result of debris being thrown from the collision.
A number of people were taken to Derriford where the driver of the Saab, a 60-year-old man from Plymouth, died. Two female passengers from the Saab also sustained injuries but have since been released from hospital.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta, an 18-year-old man from Bodmin, suffered multiple serious injuries and he remains in a critical but stable condition at Derriford.
The road was re-opened at around 11.20am.
