Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident around 6.45pm yesterday (Sunday) when a man was left with life-changing injuries.

It follows a single-vehicle incident at Tremar near Liskeard. A passenger from a VW Golf travelling through this area has sustained serious life-changing injuries.

It is unclear how the passenger, a man in his 30s, came to receive these injuries. He is currently at Derriford Hospital undergoing treatment for a serious head injury.

A full investigation of the scene took place and officers are working to establish the cause of this incident. Police thank the public for their patience while they investigated the scene.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at the time of the collision.
