Parked cars cause headache for firefighters as they go to aid of elderly resident

FIREFIGHTERS trying to help an elderly resident in Saltash have posted about the difficulties caused by parked cars.

Saltash fire crew said they had been asked to assist the ambulance service in gaining entry into a property of a 90 year old woman who had fallen.

’Entry was gained using small tools for the ambulance crew,’ said a spokesperson.

’On the way to and returning from the incident, our access was stopped due to a number of vehicles parking on double yellow lines at junctions on Higher Port View.’
