Residents of Callington will be able to get hold of their local police thanks to a new phone line being installed outside the council offices.

The dedicated 101 phone line is set to be installed next to the public phone box in New Road.

Meanwhile Callington’s Fire Brigade will be using the Council Offices and Town Hall for fire drills over the Christmas holiday period.

The council building will be closed to the public from today (Friday) until Tuesday, January 3.
