Motorists were injured in two separate accidents within just over an hour in the Dobwalls area today.

A car and an empty 16-ton lorry were in a collision at Braeside Park, where paramedics treated one injured person.

Fire and rescue service crews from Liskeard and Bodmin as well as the rescue tender from Bodmin were there to make the scene safe.

An hour earlier, at 2pm, another motorist was injured in a crash at Twelvewoods Roundabout.

Firefighters from Liskeard were sent to the scene of the two-vehicle collision.
