The incident closed the road in both directions for about an hour between 1pm and 2pm, causing some delays to holiday traffic.
Police cleared the road of debris before reopening all carriageways.
On Friday afternoon, a one-vehicle RTC on the A38 in the Glynn Valley near Trago Mills closed the road for two hours as a woman trapped in the car was cut out by the emergency staff.
