A MAN has been charged with four offences following an incident in Liskeard on Friday night.

It happened in the Callington Road area of the town, said Inspector Rupert Engley.

In a tweet, he commented: ’He has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker, resisting a constable, possession of controlled drugs and being drunk and disorderly in a public place.'The man has been remanded in custody and will appear in court on Monday, May 25.
