A burning lorry spread flames to a 30-tonne woodpile last night.
Firefighters from Callington and Saltash and the water carrier from Liskeard were sent to the scene of the drama near Harrowbarrow after 9pm yesterday.
The firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus, two hosereels and two main jets to put out the blaze.
