Two crews from Saltash Fire Station dealt with a kitchen fire in a two-storey semi-detached house in Elliott Close yesterday evening (April 4).

The firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one thermal image camera, one hosereel jet and a CO2 extinguisher to put out the fire. They then used positive pressure ventilation fans to clear the smoke from the property.
