Flooding hit areas in and around Liskeard in the early hours of yesterday morning after torrential rain, fuelled by gales, brought by Storm Katie.

Fire and Rescue service crews from Liskeard, Looe and Saltash helped those affected, and Liskeard teams posted a picture of one of the scenes on social media.

One business, the Racehorse Inn at North Hill, posted comments saying that despite flooding, it was open for business as usual.
