An injured person had to be freed a crashed vehicle in Polruan early this morning.

Firefighters from Polruan, police, paramedics and a co-responding vehicle from Polruan were all at the scene in Fore Street before 6am.

Paramedics and firefighters worked together to free the injured person, who was treated at the scene.

There were fears that more people had been injured and firefighters searched the local area, but without success.
