Police have issued an image culled from CCTV of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an unprovoked assault in Baytree Hill, Liskeard.

A 47-year-old local man was walking down the road towards Fore Street on February 9 when he was met by another man who punched him in the face.

The victim sustained a significant injury as a result of a single blow.

Following the assault the offender ran along Fore Street and onto Well Lane. He was then seen on Greenbank Road before going down West Street.

Police are keen to identify the man pictured in relation to the offence. He  walks with a distinctive strut, swinging his arms in a marching style.
