There will be plenty of drama and fun at Liskeard Fire Station’s open day in August and local businesses are being asked to offer their support by donating a raffle prize.
It will be held on the bank holiday weekend of Sunday, August 25 from 10am until 3pm. Visitors will be able to have a good look around the fire appliances and witness an exploding chip pan and how crews cut casualties out of cars. There will also be a BBQ, games and activities for all the family.
The event will be raising money for the Firefighters Charity and Derriford Hospital Children’s Ward as one of the team has had a lot of use of it recently with their child.
