Police are appealing to the public to help identify this man in connection with a sexual assault on a woman in Truro.

The young woman was walking home alone around 3.35am on March 7 after a night out when she was followed by a man.

He followed her from the city centre into Malpas Road where nearby he subjected her to a sexual assault. She suffered a slight injury but has been left very distressed as result of the attack.

Detectives have carried out extensive enquiries as part of the investigation and are keen to identify the man pictured in connection with the incident.
