Did you live in North Weald Gardens in the Ernesettle area of Plymouth in the 1980s and early 1990s?
Police are investigating a report of an historic serious sexual abuse on a child which happened in a property in North Weald Gardens in the 1980s and early 1990s.
A man and a woman have recently come to Police and reported that they were sexually abused by a man in Plymouth when they were both children. Detectives are now appealing to anyone who may have lived in or nearby North Weald Gardens around the time.
Detective Constable Peter Riley of Charles Cross Police Station, said: ’The victims have taken the courageous step to come forward and we will do all we can to investigate this crime.
’However, we do need the help of the public and especially would like to hear from residents who lived in North Weald Gardens area of Plymouth in the 1980s and early 1990s.
’I appreciate that this incident happened a long time ago but if anyone has any information that could assist we want to hear from you.’
