A 48-year-old local man, Timothy Walkey of Warfelton Crescent, Saltash has been charged with the attempted murder of a 46-year-old woman in Saltash on Thursday (August 4). The woman received serious injuries and remains in hospital. Mr Walkey appeared at Bodmin Magistrates Court yesterday morning and was remanded to custody at HMP Exeter.
