Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Torpoint.

The burglary occurred at a property on Chapeldown Road between the evening of November 10 and midday on Saturday, November 12.

A number of items have been taken including an engraved platinum ring with an apple blossom design; a gold sapphire and diamond ring; a number of collectable coins and mining tokens; plus a navy blue leather oval jewellery / ring box.

The property was entered through a rear window and the offenders have taken a large amount of jewellery plus cash in the region of £750.

Police would like to hear from anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area, or who has been offered any of the above stolen items for sale. A number of the items have been personalised and are of great sentimental significance to the owners.
