There are unconfirmed reports of an arrest in the centre of Liskeard this evening.

We do not know if it was connected to the attempted robbery at Addington Stores this afternoon which sparked a police manhunt.

A female member of staff said to have been threatened at knifepoint is reported to be shaken but unharmed.
