THE A38 in the Glynn Valley is reported to be currently (at 6.55pm) closed for recovery work following a three-vehicle accident around an hour ago – with Two Waters Foot once again the scene of the collision.

The accident was first reported on the Devon and Cornwall Police Inrix web page at 5pm.

At 5.27pm an update reported: “Both ways blocked, very slow traffic due to accident, three vehicles involved between A30 (Carminow Cross, Bodmin) and B3360 (Doublebois Crossroads, Doublebois).”

Between Drift Lane and the B3360 was subsequently specified as the location.

The latest update stated: “A38 partially blocked queueing traffic, traffic taking turns due to accident, three vehicles involved near Trago Mills.”The latest update at 6.01pm was: "A38 both ways closed, queueing traffic due to recovery work and accident, three vehicles involved between A30 (Carminow Cross, Bodmin) and A390 (Twelvewoods Roundabout, Dobwalls)."The most recent update at 6.41pm states though the A38 is still closed both ways, traffic is "coping well" with the diversions in place.
