THE A30 eastbound at Bodmin was temporarily closed for several hours on February 15 (Tuesday) after a vehicle collided with the central reservation.

Police received reports of a car having hit the central reservation at around 8.35am. A van was also hit by debris from the car.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson confirmed: “A car was in collision with the central reservation on the A30 eastbound at Bodmin.

“A van was also hit by the debris from the car. Ambulance attended.

“The male car driver was taken to Derriford Hospital to be checked over. Eastbound was closed at Bodmin onslip.

“The debris from the collision was scattered across both carriageways.

“Police managed the traffic westbound, which was clear just after 9am. All open and clear by 10.45am.”
