Motorists across Cornwall have been reminded to bear emergency service access in mind when parking after Newquay Fire Station crews had problems answering a 999 call yesterday.

They posted this picture of the scene, and Cornwall’s fire and rescue service has endorsed the message that yellow line are in place for a good reason.
