THE eagerly-awaited Walter C Parson Cup third-round clash between Liskeard Athletic and St Austell last night was postponed.

The Lux Park pitch failed an afternoon inspection, and with heavy rain falling throughout the evening, it was certainly the right decision.

The match has been re-arranged for next Wednesday at Lux Park, with a 7.30pm kick-off.

The draw for the quarter-finals has also been delayed until that evening.
