A superb second-half performance saw Saltash cruise to victory over a young G's outfit who ran out of steam.

The Ashes were unlucky not to have taken a 23rd-minute lead when Joe Carey's right-wing cross found Aaron Cusack sending in a superb headed effort that crashed back in to play off the crossbar.

Danny Zalick fired Richard Maddsion's cross over the top from 12 yards before the striker returned the favour, only for Maddison to hit an angled effort over.

The goal of the game arrived on the hour-mark when Zalick evaded two challenges, before dinking a delightful chip over the advancing Semmens for a class finish.
