FOLLOWING the previous week's disappointing defeat to Mannamead, Caradon got back to winning ways with a 5-1 victory over Plymouth Marjon in the West Clubs' Women's League South Division.

With a few regulars missing from the starting line-up Caradon started the game a little cautiously but, as they started to find their feet, they created a number of chances.

Marjon held their ground and turned defence into attack with some neat moves of themselves.

The defensive line-up of Marcia Burgess, Sharon Jeffery and Nicky Wood had to stay alert, but it was a breakaway move that saw the visitors take the lead against the run of play.
