CALLINGTON's Jade Kinsey and her Tavistock Athletic Club coach, Adam Tofield, made the long trip to Belgium to represent the South West at the International Antwerp Athletics Gala, which featured top athletes from France, Germany, Netherlands, Japan, USA, England and the host nation.

Adam was first up in the 400 metres, where he finished second behind a fellow British runner.

Kinsey then took to the track for the women's 200 metres, but after being forced to use the stadium blocks, got a bad start and lost a fair bit of time on her competitors.
