THE New Wave Martial Arts Taekwondo and kick boxing students from Liskeard, Callington and Torpoint have a number of new Black Belts.

The students recently travelled to Swindon to be graded for their black belts. Those who gained their 1st Degree have done four years' minimum training and Sophie Parton, who graded to 3rd Degree, has been training for 11 years. Harvey Drake was awarded best junior black belt and Simon Nolan was awarded best male black belt.
