EAST Cornwall League champions Torpoint Athletic will have to wait until Wednesday, August 22, to open their Premier Division campaign with a visit to St Dominick.

The League announced its fixtures, which start on Saturday, August 18.

As both divisions are operating with 15 teams, there will be at least one team missing out on a match each Saturday.

Promoted clubs Millbrook and Liskeard Athletic have mixed opening-day fortunes.

Division One champions Liskeard travel to Wadebridge Town, while second-placed Millbrook kick off with a tough encounter at home to Plymouth Parkway.

St Dominick start with a tough visit to Elburton Villa, while Lanreath will look to begin their campaign as they ended the last – with a victory over visitors Bere Alston United.

Saltash United face one of the favourites for the title, Launceston, while Tavistock will look to improve on last season's performance against visitors Morwenstow.

In Division One, relegated St Stephens Borough have to wait until Tuesday, August 21, when they have a tough visit to Polperro, while fellow relegated club Bodmin Town start their season on August 18 at Roche.
