CALLINGTON narrowly lost their unbeaten record after an exciting game against St Just at New Road in the Premier Division of the Jolly's Drinks Cornwall Cricket League

Despite the bright weather, the wicket was still very damp and, after winning the toss, Matt Robins invited St Just to bat first.

The classy David Roberts had hit a four and a six when he scooped and Aidan Libby delivery to Russ Holloway at mid-off.

Neil Curnow survived a dropped catch and a confident lbw appeal before going on to score 46 before losing his woodwork to Andy Libby.
