Saltash RFC are set for their biggest game of the season on Saturday when they take on Slough in the RFU Senior Vase quarter-final (2pm).The tie has been switched to the 4G pitch at Keyham in Plymouth (Pl2 1QT) because Saltash's Moorlands Lane pitch is waterlogged.
Should the Ashes come through the tie, they would face a semi-final where the winners would book an appearance at Twickenham for the Vase final on Sunday, May 6.
Saltash coach Nick Skinnard reported a clean bill of health in the squad following a double weekend of Cornwall & Devon League games, against Hayle (87-14 and Torrington (84-3).
