Cornwall-based Sharp’s Brewery is to be a major backer of the forthcoming British Lions rugby tour to New Zealand – one of the world’s biggest sporting events.

The British and Irish Lions have announced that Sharp’s Brewery’s Doom Bar is an official sponsor for the 2017 summer tour.

James Nicholls of Sharp’s said: ’Doom Bar has always had a strong association with rugby and we are especially proud of our history of supporting numerous local clubs in Cornwall and beyond.’
