After losing to relegation- threatened Redruth time out, Callington went down to Trescobeas and beat the side that were leading the table.

After being put into bat, the visitors lost skipper Matt Robins for ten in the fifth over, when he offered a return catch to Justin Stephens.

Dan Davis was going well on 25 when he misread a straight one from George Popperwell and was given leg before.

Adrian Robins made 16 and Sam Higgins hit three boundaries in his 17, before becoming one of young spinner Guy Leathley's four victims.
