A RECORD-breaking contingent of Caradon swimmers set 90 personal best times at Plymouth Leander's open meet competition in the city's new Life Centre.

The team of 34 Caradon Swimming Club members was the largest squad of club competitors at an open meet.

For many, it was their first time competing in a 50-metre pool, and for some team-mates, it was their first competition outside of the club environment.

Caradon swimmers put in many strong performances over the three days of competition.

Luke Getson produced a number of outstanding results.
