TORPOINT took their unbeaten run to four games with this hard-fought

victory at The Mill over a Town outfit who improved after the break to give the home crowd a few anxious moments, despite being down to ten men.

The Tamarsiders had been the more dominant team in the first half, but it was not until a minute before the break that the only goal of the game arrived.

Luke Avis-Riordan's left-wing cross found Shane White heading the ball back across the Town area, where Tom Payne rose to send in a header that the unwitting Steve Floyd-Norris headed past his own goalkeeper, Jason Chapman.
